INDIANAPOLIS – Canada Post took part in an unveiling of the first all-electric C250 delivery truck today as the Corporation continues to look for more sustainable ways to deliver for Canadians.

OTTAWA – With COVID-19 restrictions easing across the country, Canada Post is safely resuming delivery practices for Proof of Age (POA), Signature items and Customs owing items.

Canada Post is experiencing an unprecedented number of transactions at post offices across the country as Canadians look to safely connect with loved ones through the mail this holiday season.

In the final days before the calendar turned to December, Canada Post delivered almost 3 million parcels across the country. That includes approximately 2.1 million parcels delivered on Monday, November 30, 2020 after a weekend with approximately 800 thousand parcel deliveries. As Canada's parcel delivery leader, we've fully implemented plans to scale up and stay safe while responding to the expected heavy holiday parcel volumes.

Canada Post today officially launched Delivered Tonight™ in Montreal, the third major city in Canada where customers can have their purchases delivered within hours of placing their online order.

With more Canadians doing their holiday shopping online, parcel volumes have begun to soar, setting up what is expected to be a record-breaking season.
